Yes, I’m a slacker and a horrible person
Sorry, been busy since I got back from Michigan. There will probably be some follow up posts to World’s, but for now i’m gonna leave it at it was a great time had by all.
There were plenty of other things I wanted to gripe about this week, but I never had enough face time with my keyboard to get it down - from race weekend to some pointless things in the DC universe to idiot drivers on my commute. Again, maybe i’ll go back and revisit them.
I wanted to mention Nighthawk’s mileage, or the fact that Atlantis is finally in Orbit after a 3 month delay. Oh well, more than that later.
There will be a post directly following this one, but it won’t show up until 10:01 PM Sunday night. It’s my Soprano’s prediction post. We’ll get to see how well I pegged it. (That, and there’s now a bet riding on it.)
However, the most important news is this - an addition to the family. The time without any dogs as come to an end:

That’s Trapper. At least that’s now his name, the rescue society that saved him from stray-dom gave him another name, but it didn’t really fit. I’ll try to get some comparison pics, cause this is a big dog. He looks all Yellow Lab, but he’s very, very tall for one. Standing up the top of his head is probably higher than my waist, which is something none of our pups have ever done. He also looks emaciated at his 88 pounds. So far he’s a calm gentle lab, which is a good sign. Now for the fun acclimation process.
