Oh, there was something else I had to cover tonight - Christmas Rules
Nope, this wasn’t my original topic, but this is somewhat time sensitive. Christmas is looming, and rushing at us like a rocket reaching escape velocity.
I’m making it easy this year. Really easy. I’m only expecting gifts from 2 people. Those 2 people know who they are already. So if you aren’t one of the 2 people that know, don’t get me anything. I don’t need any more stuff, and anything I want is entirely too expensive for someone to actually go out and purchase for me.
If you’re not one of the two, and still feel the need to spend money on me, I have to following recommendation: Go to http://abuddyforlife.org/ and donate the money to them. Or whatever your favorite charity happens to be. There are lots of others that need the money more than I need the gifts.
The charity I mentioned is the dog rescue we got Pete and Trapper from, and they aren’t hurting for dogs to help.
See, isn’t that easy? No need to even go into a store. And you’ll probably feel good about doing it too…

…and it’s with a heavy heart I announce that Ferretman has fallen, by the hand of Christopher A. Kringle, on the 3rd of December 2008. That or he is abandoned this blog for facebook.
