Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo

Heh, the Bloodhound Gang may be a bunch of 30 year olds going on 13, but that song is kind of catchy. And they mention Wawa on their new album too.

Also, it somehow slipped under my radar that Cartoon Network had starting airing the new season of Justice League. There’s more TV I gotta catch up on. Also, Sci-Fi green lighted another year for the two Stargates. They’ll pay for both of those, but not keep Farscape. Yes, I’m still bitter.

Also, apparently Dr. Who (2005) won all sorts of awards at the British version of the Emmys. Which is cool, cause that was a damn cool show. But then:

Billie Piper

is never a bad to have as a female lead.

For the first time in a while I needed sunglasses on the way home. Of course, I needed the shade, and some help from trees as well. The sun’s a tad lower than it normally is. Also got held up at the bridge - where they had two lanes closed to replace a bit of concrete. That makes feel real good, considering the countless times I’ve driven over that section of the bridge they’re replacing.

Have I mentioned that I can’t wait for baseball to end? It’s screwing up all the shows on Fox I want. I want Peter Griffin, not some fluke team out of the Windy City. They’ve royally screwed over some of their best shows just because baseball was on. Who’s gonna remember Bones? Or Kitchen Confidential now? Punks. I bet their ratings this year have sucked too. There’s a good reason for that. Baseball == Boring. There’s no way around it. Waiting for something to happen is like watching NASCAR waiting for a wreck. Hours of boredom punctuated by a few seconds of entertainment. I mean, these sports don’t even have cheerleaders for the downtime. Sheesh.
Sports like that should be broadcast in 5 minutes. Cut out all the boring stuff, and just show the 5 minutes of highlights worth watching. You can cram an entire game of the World Series into a commercial break during Family Guy, and everyone will be happy.

Apparently there may be hope for us all yet. CNN’s got a poll that says only 1 in 10 Americans believe any wrong doing did no occur. Indictments may come down today from the Grand Jury. I think I’ll put on some popcorn.

Oh, and Wal-Mart is evil. But we already knew that. They’re just not feeling the need to hide it anymore.

Baseball boring?! Screw you! Also, that chick isn’t all that hot looking. I can easily think of 5 more that easily exceed her. Then again maybe it’s justa horrible picture. Sorry i’m bitter, but you insulted my sport. It’s ok, I get it, those who don’t like it simply don’t understand its rules. They are complex. it’s not just hitting and throwing like football… rules there can fit on a church flyer. Baseball is simply the sweet spot of sports. Next you’ll likely insult golf. Then tennis, and MAYBE Soccer. Who knows.

Oh and Wal-Mart sucks, Cheney Sucks, and Yankees suck.

Like the site, but i appear to be the lone-poster…

Chicks, like sports, are a “to each their own” kind of thing. While I agree that there are hotter gals out there, I wouldn’t kick Ms. Piper out of the bed. Same with baseball - it would still be boring even if I did know all the rules, I just don’t find it interesting. Golf isn’t so bad, though I wouldn’t want to watch it. Soccer goes for that whole few minutes of interest in 90 of boredom bit, but at least hooligan fans keep you on your toes.

Yeah, not everyone is the responder you are. But that may change in time. Usually only happens when I do something controversial, like call out baseball, or the almighty.

I don’t get the “walmart is evil” bit… I have heard that they are evil because they have everything made my toddlers in Asia… I heard that they are communists. Your link points to a memo about people scorning walmart for thier benifits. Walmart doesn’t decide how much health insurance premiums are, and the rapidly rising costs has been a burden on most buisinesses. Places now fire people who smoke because of health insurance costs, don’t hire many full time employees so they don’t need to worry about the option, and obviously, outsource. It seems to be a bigger problem than walmart being evil, it’s the health care corporations who have more than doubled their rates. No wonder everyone either outsources or hires illegals.

would be a more common poster if you weren’t also like baseball (only posting interesting topics sporatically) or bothered to respond to other posts from people… :oD

Walmart is also lobbying for a raise in the minimum wage, but not willing to raise their own wages voluntarily.

And I can’t be interesting all the time, most people would find my hobbies boring. But I can try to respond more.

Tom, don’t shit in Ben’s cereal. I have a blog spot too, and I only post what is interesting to me, and what i THINK might be interesting to others. If it doesn’t float your boat there are like 244,234,545,754,2345 other blogs out there in cyber space to park your viewing pleasures, I’m sure.

Ben, you know I like baseball, so you know when people attack it, I have to defend it… kind of like how you used to defend your RedSkins until they started to do it themselves this year. BURN!! :)
