A few clerical bits
As you may have noticed, there’s a bunch of new comics listed over there. I keep adding more as I find ones I like, and there’s a whole lot of talented and funny ones out there. See, I kinda use it as a rundown list so I don’t have to remember all of those addresses.
Also, I corrected a few blog links - Liz got her own domain name, so I updated the link to her blog. It’s a pretty cool one - liz-liz-bo.biz. But then, how can you not like a pun made with a TLD?
Liz also got me to set her up a forum for her and her delinquent friends. I guess she just needed a message board that was anything goes - I guess we all need a place to be irreverent. Of course, considering its taking off like wildfire, I guess the need was there. There’s a link to it over there, called "Your Next Day Off". If you too need a place to vent, or throw around vulgarities, join on up. The more the merrier.
Nighthawk is definitely going to hit 30k this week. I think it’s going to happen tomorrow. Guess I better make an appointment for its checkup.
I finally caught one of Woody Allen’s latest, Match Point. It’s a quiet flick, with decidedly fewer explosions than most of the movies i’ve seen recently. While it had funny moments, it was also pretty dark. Ah, the crazy things people will do for love and to protect their families. Oh, and Scarlett Johanssen was in it, which is always a plus. Apparently her next movie (also by Allen) is a whodunit with a serial killer. Things must be so bright and shiny in Woody’s world. In a way, it was kind of like Closer, but not as fucked up. The only real downside was the amount of clothing on Scarlett in the sex scenes. Oddly enough, that was Closer’s problem too, just with Natalie Portman. And she was a stripper in that movie. Sheesh.
